Guidelines

Entry fees: £8 or 9€ for single entry; £14 or 15.85€ for 2; £20 or 22.50€ for 3.

Entries may be on any theme to a minimum of 1,500 words and a maximum of 3,000 words excluding title.

Entries must be the original work of the author.

Entries must be in English and must not have been published, self-published, broadcast or posted on the internet.

Entries must not have won a prize elsewhere.

Entries must be typed in your preferred font, double-spaced in 12 point.

No identification must appear on the submissions. Please include a separate cover note with your name, address, Tel & email and a list of your titles.

How to pay: By cheque in sterling made out to J.A. Simms. Euro cheques are acceptable only if issued from a French bank account.

Receipt of all entries will be acknowledged. The judge will read all entries. No discussion of results will ensue. We do not offer critiques on competition entries.
